Review Guidelines

All manuscripts submitted to SAMAGRA: Journal of Integrated Health Sciences are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and ethically conducted scientific research. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the relevant field and are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.

Reviewers are requested to assess manuscripts based on the following criteria:

1. Relevance to the Journal Scope

The manuscript should be relevant to the focus and scope of the journal and contribute to the advancement of integrated health sciences, including medicine, nursing, midwifery, public health, pharmacy, nutrition, biomedical sciences, rehabilitation, and other related health disciplines.

2. Originality and Contribution

The manuscript should present original ideas, significant research findings, or meaningful contributions to health sciences and healthcare practice.

3. Scientific Quality

The research objectives, study design, methodology, data analysis, results, and conclusions should be scientifically sound, clearly presented, and supported by appropriate evidence.

4. Organization and Clarity

The manuscript should be well organized, logically structured, and written in clear academic English. Tables, figures, and illustrations should be relevant, properly labeled, and of high quality.

5. Literature and References

The manuscript should demonstrate an adequate review of current and relevant literature. Citations and references must follow the APA 7th Edition citation style and include recent, high-quality scholarly sources whenever possible.

6. Ethical Standards

Reviewers should identify any indication of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, unethical research involving human or animal subjects, or other forms of research misconduct and immediately report any ethical concerns to the Editor.

Reviewer Recommendations

Based on their evaluation, reviewers should recommend one of the following editorial decisions:

  • Accept

  • Accept with Minor Revisions

  • Reconsider after Major Revisions

  • Reject

Reviewers are encouraged to provide constructive comments and practical suggestions that help authors improve the scientific quality, clarity, and overall impact of their manuscripts.

Confidentiality and Conflict of Interest

Reviewers must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and must not disclose or use any unpublished information for personal or professional advantage. Reviewers should decline a review invitation if they have any conflict of interest that could affect the objectivity or impartiality of their evaluation.
